Lori's Oy Vey Cafe on Baltimore Avenue in Rehoboth (I get it with lettuce, tomato and a schmear of hot pepper spread). The secret ingredient? Blue Cheese! Lori's is seasonal. Call first!
Crooked Hammock also has a refreshingly simple chicken salad. Get it on toast – with bacon!
Honorable mention goes to Jimmy's Kitchen in Fenwick Island (get the club & add bacon), and, interestingly enough, Panera Bread in Rehoboth Beach.

Have you tried the chicken salad at Beach Bakrie (not a typo) in Bethany? Pretty damned good.
McCabe’s is still the best for me!!! Not only is their chicken salad sandwich very yummy but wandering around their shop is a wonderful and fun experience. McCabe’s is not just an eatery. It’s a casual culinary shopping and exploring outing!
