Longtime Eden Executive Chef Andy Feeley has joined the talented lineup of chefs at SoDel Concepts. True to form, he is starting at one of SDC's flagship fine-dining icons, Bluecoast. Andy left his longtime spot at Eden on Baltimore Avenue to become the opening chef for the new Metro Pub & Grill in Middletown, DE. But, typical in the cheffing world, it quickly became time to move on. Of course his relationship with Metro is still great.
Feeley was born and raised in Wilmington, DE, and graduated from Salesianum High School prior to attending the Restaurant School of Philadelphia on Walnut Hill (also alma mater to Hari Cameron and Kevin Reading). After graduating in 2005 with a B.A. in Culinary Arts and Food Sciences, Andy began his career at The Green Room at Hotel du Pont. His experience includes working under Chef Fritz Blank at Deux Chiminee in Philadelphia and working at World Café Live and Bistro M on the Main Line, 821 and Domaine Hudson in Wilmington and Peninsula Golf & Country Club.
Andy joined Eden as Executive Chef in the Fall of 2011, and after a short stint at Peninsula Golf & Country Club, he joined the RM Hospitality Group in October 2015 as Chef de Cuisine of Metro Pub & Grill. He is now in the kitchen at Bluecoast in Bethany Beach. I suspect that he will stick with SoDel Concepts for a long time. That seems to be the way things go with that organization.
Chef Andy is on the culinary board for William Penn High School and the National Advisory Board for Best Chefs America. Congratulations, Andy!
