McCabes Gourmet Market, the longtime gourmet/sandwich shop in South Bethany, will soon be replaced by Big Fish Restaurant Group's prepared food operation in conjunction with Rosenfeld's Jewish Deli. It will be similar to Big Fish Market in Rehoboth Beach, except that it will also also carry some of the products and serve selected dishes from Rosenfeld's Jewish Deli, including some of the meats and desserts. We'll keep you posted!

Bob, I have known the owner of Macabes for years now, sadly I never knew her name. I could walk into the store and ask if the boss was in and I could walk right back to her office.we would talk every thing food.please tell me why she closed?thanks.
Ridiculous and arbitrary restrictions imposed on restaurants have been the kiss of death for many small places. With the very few seats McCabes already had, it was tantamount to closing them. That, combined with the fact that the owners wished to move on resulted in the space being taken over by BigFish/Rosenfeld’s.
Will you be able to get complete Rosenfeld’s sandwiches made to order, or just the components to DIY them?
To my knowledge, they will be making the sandwiches there and serving them in the same manner that sandwiches were served at McCabe’s.
