In just a week or so, current 99 Sea Level (Bethany Beach) Executive Chef Danio Somoza-Angel, his wife Lauren Gabrielle and his brother Enrique & wife will open the Harvest Tide Steakhouse in Lewes.
Work is finishing up at the space located in the former Da Vinci’s Pizzeria building near the Beacon Motel (Pig & Publican restaurant) on the Lewes Beach side of the Savannah Road Drawbridge. The increased diner traffic to that side of the bridge – including that brought in by the newly opened Wheelhouse restaurant – will be beneficial for everyone on that side of the canal. Danio has some surprises in store for diners, including a wide range of price points. He will remain as executive chef of 99 Sea Level, sharing the Lewes kitchen responsibilities with his equally talented brother.
