Sydney Arzt, who was instrumental in bringing jazz music to coastal Delaware and Rehoboth Beach in particular, is the new executive director of the Schwartz Center for the Arts. The former schoolteacher-turned restaurateur (Sydney's Blues & Jazz Restaurant, located where Pig & Fish is now) is also one of the founding members of the group that created the Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival.
Sydney, who brought resort dining and jazz music together many years ago, is one of the Rehoboth Foodie's favorite people. Congratulations!
