As a followup to the two recent Cape Gazette articles, Touch of Italy reported today (Monday, 4/30) that the one (former) stockholder who was attempting action to reverse last week's sale of the business did NOT prevail in court.
So after almost a year of internal unpleasantness, disappointment and strife, Touch of Italy sole owner Bob Ciprietti is now finally able to turn his attention back to the operation of the Touch of Italy restaurants, his employees, and the construction of the long-awaited Milford location. Before you go to your email boxes … no, the Christiana location will NOT be built. But Milford's on the way.
Get the whole story from Bob Ciprietti himself. CLICK HERE to listen to his exclusive follow-up interview with me that ran Saturday, May 5 on The Business of Eating Show on 105.9FM.
A building permit has been filed to resume construction of the new Touch of Italy in the stately old M&T Bank Building in the heart of downtown Milford. We'll keep you posted!
In my humble opinion, TOI has really gone downhill. I and another friend had chicken parm pounded so thin it was like a piece of leather. I was given gift cards so I had to use them. I got a calzone that was so burnt i threw most of it away. It was also almost double the cost of others. They were much better. I’m sorry to say I won’t be going back. I hope they get back on track.
