Farm to School 8/27

Executive Chef, Ryan Cunningham of Abbott’s on Broad Creek will be participating in a Farm-to-School Food Service Workshop at the Laurel (DE) High School on Wednesday, August 27.  Cunningham will lend assistance to members of the Food Trust of Philadelphia by instructing a four-hour session with local school district food service workers.  The various topics to be covered during the course include basic knife skills, food processing, presentation, customer service and produce safety.  In addition to such community based teaching, Cunningham hosts monthly cooking classes at Abbott’s on Broad Creek in downtown Laurel, DE.
