Big Fish Restaurant Group is in the process of purchasing Matt DiSabatino's Striper Bites restaurant and, if all goes well, 2nd Street Tavern (formerly John & Twain's Buttery) from the Gates family. Both are in Lewes.
This will make over 20 restaurants belonging to BFRG, or in which they are partners. However, the old Buttery/2nd St. Tavern location will be offered for lease rather than contain a BFRG restaurant – at least for now.
We'll keep you posted. Things change like the tides around here………….
