We are sad to report that A Different Kitchen in the Paynter's Mill development in Milton closed its doors permanently on Saturday, 12/29. Chefs Roy Fowler and Mary Gaffney did an amazing job there, and I know that many of The Rehoboth Foodie's followers will miss their clever fusion of Asian/Southeast Asian cuisine with traditional dishes. We wish Dierdre and her crew the best, and we're keeping a close eye on Mary and Roy. They're talented and will land on their feet!

I am so sad to hear that they have closed….there food was Awesome. I only wished I had a restaurant that I could walk to near me. I don’t get why the Paynters Mill Development residents could not support them? Every Restaurant that has gone in there has closed. I can only assume due to not being supported by the neighborhood because the Restaurants have always been really good in there! I told everyone about them. I wish them good will and to find a location that will support them, their creative food was delicious and priced right!
I’m sorry to hear that A DIFFERENT KITCHEN has closed. The meal we had there was delicious and unique. I wish everyone involved success in their future endeavors much luck. Hopefully they will open another restaurant in a more mainstream location.
We will miss them. What fabulous food every time we went there.
