On Saturday, April 30, ride your bike and help feed our homebound Sussex neighbors and seniors at the 2016 Wheels for Meals Bike Ride to benefit your LOCAL Meals on Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth. Every penny raised stays right here in Sussex County.
It all starts at Beacon Middle School at 8 a.m. Each rider must gather at least $100 in pledges and donations in order to enroll in the event. Prizes are awarded to the top three who raise the most money for Meals on Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth.
Anyone wishing to pledge/donate either for themselves or for a particular rider can call 302-645-7449 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday thru Friday to make a pledge using a credit card. Want to be a rider? Call that number and ask that the signup packet be sent to you by email. Or you can pick it up at the Meals on Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth office on Rt. 9 just before Nassau Commons Road.
