Join The Rehoboth Foodie, wine columnist Catherine Hester of Teller Wines, Jen Ellingsworth from Cape Gazette and Beach Paper (three people who don’t mind eating hot wings for breakfast) at the Rehoboth Fire Hall at high noon on Saturday Feb. 4.
The Fire & Ice contest presents gourmet ice creams and local hot wings to benefit that weekend’s Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics Delaware. Vote your favorite and see if it matches the judges’ picks.
As of this writing, participating wing gurus include Zogg’s, Bethany Blues, JAM Bistro, Pig & Fish Restaurant Company, Rehoboth Ale House, Sherm’s Catering and Pickled Pig Pub. Ice cream mavens at the moment are Woodside Farm Creamery and Hopkins Farm Creamery.
