The gala pre-tournament dinner and auction for the 39th annual Harry Derrickson Memorial Golf Tournament will take place on Sunday, September 18 from 4-7 at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club. Every penny raised goes to benefit our LOCAL Meals on Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth, providing nourishing meals 365 days a year to homebound seniors in Rehoboth, Lewes and Harbison.
One of the auction items will be a dinner for 12, hosted and cooked in your home by Touch of Italy owner Bob Ciprietti, with fried chicken wings whipped up by none other than your very own Rehoboth Foodie. 90+-point wines will be provided by Meals on Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth Board President John Wolfle, and Rehoboth's own cheesemonger, Bill Wilson, will prepare a gigantic antipasto just for you.
Tickets are only $95 p/p and include dinner and an open bar. Though the Touch of Italy/Foodie dinner prize should be enough to convince you to join us, there will be lots of other great items including cruises, wheelbarrows full of wine and lots more. RBCC's new Executive Chef Dan Reilly (winner of the 2016 Top Chef of the Culinary Coast competition) is personally overseeing the banquet dinner menu! And it all goes to benefit your LOCAL Meals on Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth.
