Indian ‘Fusion’ Coming to Lewes

/ Updated on April 29, 2018

The ornate purple, yet Victorian, home located between Heirloom and The Buttery restaurants on Savannah Road is slated to become an Indian “fusion” restaurant in late summer 2018. Owned by a group of Lewes doctors that includes Lewes urologist  Dr. Ramachandra Hosmane, the building will be returned to its original light blue and white motif. Co-owner and Newark cardiologist Dr. Vinay Hosmane (Ramachandra’s son) has secured a chef, known only as GG, to handle the kitchen duties and the “fusion” cooking – including Indian-Caribbean fusion – for which they hope to be known.

As yet there is no name for this new eatery, but we will keep you posted on its progress!
