Karin Palacios came here legally from Guatamala and worked at Sunrise in Dewey Beach for 19 years. When former Sunrise owner retired (Sunrise is still open and going strong in Dewey, by the way) Palacios fulfilled her dream of owning her own place in the old Kupchick's Corner Market / Casa Amici / Full Belly Bistro location at the intersection of Wescoats and Clay roads in Lewes. She opened for business in July 2023.
Though the menu is similar to Full Belly, they have added a Latino flavor, including tamales and burritos. The plan is to add breakfast and lunch specials and other Latino goodies like quesadillas and tacos.
Keep an eye out for more changes to that former gas station-turned-eatery.
