Talented chef Jordan Miller will be leaving the relatively new Heirloom in Lewes, and former Salt Air Chef Matt Kern will take his place.
Jordan, who is moving on (not unusual for talented chefs who are constantly expanding their range), will leave some big shoes to fill, but Kern's success at Salt Air suggests that he will ably fill them. Matt tells me, “I love Salt Air and I am not leaving on any bad terms. I'm just ready for a positive change and a new challenge. Fine dining and creative cuisine are my heart, and it's where I belong. I'm excited for the new opportunity to kick ass!” And Salt Air regulars know that kick ass he will.
