Spain Wine Bar boss Peter Elias will be expanding his range northward and westward, taking over the Cowboy Coast bar (formerly the Paddock) on Coastal Highway. The plan is to morph it into the bit more upscale Bistro Cotiere. He is also opening a third restaurant called Sand & Cedar in the Ocean Pines area; a Lebanese concept with an array of middle-eastern cuisine. I love that food and can't wait to give that place a try!
Everything is in the planning stages so far, but Elias has proven himself to be a talented restaurateur, evidenced by the wildly popular Spain restaurant atop the Cambria Hotel overlooking the Rt. 50 drawbridge in south Ocean City.
