Jerusalem OUT, Aladdin IN

/ Updated on January 28, 2020

The popular Jerusalem International Grocery Middle Eastern market at Tenley Square in Lewes (near Matt's Fish Camp Lewes) has moved to downtown Rehoboth Beach in the old Proud Bookstore / Dog Ice Cream spot by Arena's at 149 Rehoboth Avenue, the little commercial alleyway that connects Rehoboth Avenue with Baltimore Avenue. The new name is Aladdin Market.

Truth be told, the plethora of free parking and the ease of access at the old Lewes location will be missed. I hope Jamil Ahmad and his partners make up for that with increased visitor/walk-in sales!

Agree that lack of free parking will limit my visits. Guess I’ll need to circle the block while my wife runs in for our labneh fix.
