The longtime Gray Hare tavern at Rt. 24 and Coastal Highway (by the UPS Store and the new Dos Locos Dos) has a new owner, Lincoln Rogerson, aka “Lincoln The Yeti.”
Lincoln is the former owner of the Big Chill Surf Cantina, now operated by LaVida Hospitality. The space will now be known as Coastal Taproom.
Longtime Gray Hare owners Bill Sharp and his wife Debra have stepped aside after a long and successful run with this watering hole that possesses one of the few remaining “tavern licenses”; meaning that they can serve alcohol without being required to serve food. Gray Hare was known for inviting guests to bring in their own food from neighboring eateries while sipping and listening to live entertainment.
Good luck, Lincoln and crew!
