Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant Sneak Peek

/ Updated on October 26, 2019

Yup, Iron Hill Brewery is indeed open in Rehoboth's new Coastal Station center. Founders Kevin Finn, Mark Edelson and Kevin Davies have brought their upstate concept to our area that seems to love on-site breweries and the food that goes with them. The over-300 seat restaurant has been packed every night since it opened on May 24th. I was at the pre-opening media party and I highly recommend the burger, the cheesesteak eggrolls, the fried chicken sliders and the pot pie. Take a leisurely scroll through the gallery to see some of these dishes. A more detailed review is in the works – as soon as we can elbow our way in there to get more pics!

Get to know Rick Whittick and Justin Sproul, the GM and Head Brewer at the new Rehoboth Iron Hill. Click to hear the podcast of their 4/28 appearance on the Sip & Bite Show.

The new restaurant/brewery hybrid is next to the brand-new Royal Farms at 19791 Coastal Highway in Rehoboth Beach, just south of Tanger Seaside Outlets. See more at IronHillBrewery.com.

AMAZING place & food. So excited to have an Iron Hill so close to our home in Rehoboth. Excited to see their amazing “hot chicken sliders” on your picture. My absolute FAVORITE at any Iron Hill. We sat outside, server was truly a pleasure and couldn’t have done enough to make sure we were happy. Also love their “king of the hill” card which is a great incentive to come back. This Iron Hill will be on our “frequent flyer” list for sure (Plus we can walk there 😉 )

I’ll have to say that our party of 4 had a great meal on Sunday May 27. Not expecting much, we were all pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the beer. The service was spot on too. Thinking this was like a run-of-the-mill brew pub with mediocre food, and having heard lukewarm takes on their other two locations, we thought we would be having the usual pub selections. But the guys’ burgers were wonderfully cooked, and the girls’ salads were fresh and not drowning in dressing. Everyone had a fantastic experience. We’re locals so will return in the off season for sure.

Went there on Friday night, one night removed from opening night, and everything went pretty well. The service was good and friendly. The cheese steak egg rolls were as good as we’ve heard they were. The Seafood Bisque is a must. I may get it every time I go. And, living across the street (literally), I will be back. Hell, I even joined the “King of The Hill” club. We also had a very good turkey burger. Freshly made as advertised, which brings us to the only negative of the night. We took half the turkey burger and some salad to go in take-out package, but left it on the table upon leaving. I was not even to the car yet, when I turned around to run back, only to find that it had already be trashed. The lovely server was not to blame as it was another person who cleaned the table. I wrote to the website that night, but have yet to receive a response. I hope that I will hear from someone soon, but I fear it has already been long enough that I don’t expect a response. Next visit, I will speak to the manager if not contacted before.

Visited Iron Hill in Lancaster PA. We had gone to Fulton Opera nearby for a show and went to Iron Hill for Sunday dinner. Fantastic and unique offerings with regular specials. Brews were varied and excellent too. Their Scratch kitchen adds to the excellence of that and farm-to-table other restaurants in the area

The goal is to have a soft opening around May 25 and be fully operational in time for the Memorial Day weekend onslaught.
