Well, we can finally reveal what's been happening behind the scenes for a few months: Big Fish Restaurant Group (Big Fish Restaurants, Crab House, Stingray, Salt Air, Striper Bites and several other properties here and elsewhere) has partnered with the tri-state restaurant group Atlas, which sports around 40 properties in Texas, Maryland and PA. Apparently Sazio in Rehoboth Beach is not part of the deal.
Big Fish boss Eric Sugrue says that the BFRG quality will remain the same, giving the larger group better buying power.
