As is always the case, for many of you this will just be a name and a sad obituary.
But to so many of us in the foodservice community here in the Cape Region, Palma Salerno's smile, enthusiasm and kindness carved out a place in our hearts that can never be refilled.
Rest in peace, Palma. We are sad.
Palma was a force of nature and never once failed to make me smile (but more likely, laugh). I love her like one of my own and will forever miss her.
