Restaurateur and entrepreneur Dennis Kangayi has opened his new Breakfast Guru concept in the old Cultured Pearl/Tuscan Grill/Ambrosia space on the ocean block of Wilmington Avenue.
As you probably surmised, the concept is all about breakfast and brunch food.
We had our first breakfast here Friday and were impressed. The service and food were outstanding with our crepes and meat eater’s omelet. Portions are big and we could only eat half of our entrees. One need is much quicker turnaround time from ordering to table. There were 5 of us in the entire restaurant and we waited over 10 minutes for our entrees. This will be a regular breakfast stop for us locals.
