Several weeks ago, the Blue Moon Restaurant went up for sheriff's auction this week. At the last minute, Atlantic Liquors' Dale Lomas and his partner stepped in and bought the land, thus relieving Tim & Randy of a mountain of debt after they bought the building several years ago. Word on the street is that The Moon is a good as ever!
Tune in to Beach Eats at 92.7FM (and streaming LIVE at wgmd.com) on Saturday 5/2 to meet Dale and get the lowdown on why he did what he did. If you miss the show, simply go to www.RehobothFoodie.com/Podcasts/ to hear a podcast of the show. The Blue Moon lives on, thanks to the Atlantic Liquors guys!

Not downtown, but I surely miss Garden Gourmet!
This is sad, Blue Moon has been a staple in the Rehoboth food scene for decades.
Terrible news, such fond memories at Blue Moon, both for brunch and dinner. Miss La La Land SO MUCH!
Bob, Had a great meal there for many many years. The last one was this past Friday. It was in my mind the premier spot in Rehoboth( along with the Back Porch). Will the sheriff sale just include fixtures and equipment or include all plus real estate.
So true, you listed all of the places that made
Rehoboth so absolutely special!!!! I miss everyone of the restaurants listed. Hopefully some new icons will emerge.
