Station on Kings Opening Soon

Leisa Berlin of Edie Bee’s Candy on Second St. in Lewes is gearing up to open the doors to The Station on Kings in just a few weeks. The Station will offer coffee, pastries and cafe fare, including a market stocked with unique kitchen wares, fresh local produce and specialty foods. By the time spring rolls around, they will also have an extensive garden center.

In May, 2016, Lewes businesswoman Leisa Berlin purchased the vacant lot near the railroad crossing where Kings Highway bears off into downtown Lewes (Rt. 268) for her 4,200-square-foot market, casual eatery and bakery. Berlin’s son Chris McKeown owns Agave restaurant, and her daughter Sarah McKeown owns Nectar. Both are on Second Street in downtown Lewes.

In the meantime, Leisa is looking for good help at the new facility! Bakers, line cooks, baristas, and food runners are needed. Please send resumes to

Looks like it will be a grand station. I hope there will be enough parking to go around!
