Disappointed in Rosenfeld’s new Deli in Rehoboth. In addition to limp soggy pickles, the corned beef in the Reuben was rubbery and the sauerkraut tasted as if they had washed the sour flavor away with boiling water. But that wasn’t the worst part. The rye bread is soft like Wonder Bread. You can’t have a Jewish Deli without chewy, crusty rye bread. It’s simply not possible. On the plus side, we bought some smoked whitefish to take home and it met and exceeded our expectations. We ate it with rye bread from Old World Bakery.

Waited long time for this place to open! Went to the Rehoboth location this weekend and am sorry to say that the meat is just terrible. NOTHING like the place in Ocean City. In Ocean city, the corned beef and the pastrami are firm, taste fresh and have the proper red color. In Rehoboth the meats are soggy, like they have been in boiling water for 4 hours. The pastrami was dark in color and like rubber. The corned beef was wet in the sandwich and fell apart onto the plate. Why is it so different!?
Very disappointed. Not going back to the Rehoboth location – how could the two places be so different?
