Gilligan’s Milton OPEN

/ Updated on September 7, 2020

Cheryl and Garry Tilton's popular Gilligan's restaurant on the waterfront in Lewes has expanded into Milton. They opened for business at 5pm Friday, March 1. They are located next to the car wash in the old rebuilt restaurant space just a block west of Po'Boys restaurant. It still has the classy austerity of the Lewes restaurant, and with a much larger bar.

Cheryl tells me that the new spot still offers her famous crab cakes, but that the atmosphere leans more toward gastropub, small plates and a large selection of crafts. A sneak peek at the menu includes: a particularly delicious North Carolina shredded pork BBQ, fried ravioli, wings cooked in duck confit and bison burgers….. sounds pretty good, huh?

We'll keep you posted!

First time visiting the Milton location and had a fabulous meal! The crab cake was the BEST I have ever had and the entire staff couldn’t have been nicer. Thanks to everyone for a great experience ❤️…One of my former students woks there and it was so great seeing her. I’ll definitely be back and will recommend!

We dined at Gilligan’s last night and were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, service, and food. The restaurant is nicely appointed and roomy. The waiter was very attentive. We so enjoyed our special cocktails, scallops and crab cake (huge and no fillers!). We are glad to have a new dining option of this calibre in Milton. We will be back!

Have they gotten their act together yet? Went there for lunch L ON G wait due to not enough staff. The lunch menu left much to be desired as well. Not sure I will venture back unless someone recommends.

Such exciting news! Love some bison burgers! Kind of wish they were going into the old Goodfella’s spot (wasn’t it Norma’s, a reliable diner-esque restaurant once upon a time? Any “chews” on that spot?

I am excited about this. The more restaurants we get out this way the less time we have to fight Rt 1 in the summer
