The Delaware beer scene is making an unprecedented splash in the Mid-Atlantic region in 2020. With Dogfish Head carrying the torch as an industry leader, many other breweries have focused on their own unique concepts, thus, carving their way through a variety of craft beer niches. Big Oyster Brewery was named the 2nd fastest growing brewery in the country by the Brewers Association with a heavy focus on distribution and artistically created can designs, while Dewey Beer Co. is quickly becoming an absolute mecca for fruited sours and IPAs in the region. Iron Hill was recently featured in Forbes Magazine for their focus on made-from-scratch food and award-winning-beer, while Crooked Hammock is set to open its third location with a continued focus on easy-drinking options and open-air environments.
