This year’s commencement speaker at Goldey-Beacom College’s 128th Commencement Ceremony will be none other than Sam Calagione, founder and president of Dogfish Head Craft Brewery in Rehoboth Beach. Calagione will also receive an honorary doctorate degree of business administration from the college. More than 450 graduates will receive their diplomas at 3:45 p.m., Friday, May 1, in the Joseph West Jones College Center.
Sam is a semifinalist for Best Beer, Wine & Spirits Professional award from the James Beard Foundation and recently appeared on Sip & Bite with the Rehoboth Foodie on Delaware 105.9. Listen to the show here.
