Delightful Temptations Open

Delightful Temptations has opened at 7 First Ave. in the space where Cake Break slowly faded away. Normally I don't write about gift shops and variety stores (I do cover them extensively in my travel app, Rehoboth In My Pocket), but proprietor Janice Mann has stocked the tiny storefront with some unusual hot sauces (Angry Cock, Dewey Beach Roadkill and Psycho Santa come to mind…), pickled goodies and some of Peppers' branded delicacies, none the least of which the delicious Blue Crab Salsa. Now I don't have to drive all the way to Lewes (…I've been here too long…) to stock up on this tasty dip!

In addition to the prepared and bottled goodies, non-food items include incense (wow — took me back to my Sunshine Octopus and Tempest Fugit days), holistic goodies (including a big selection of aromatherapy oils) and some nice shirts emblazoned with uplifting messages. Heck, they even have Sriracha! Scroll through the photo gallery then check this place out. They are nestled between The Pond and Corner Grill on S. First across from First St. Station.
