The venerable 1776 Steakhouse owner has been awarded the prestigious Cornerstone Award by the Delaware Restaurant Association. For almost 40 years, Tom Holmes and Exec. Chef/Partner Tammy Mozingo have been providing high-caliber service and food at their spot in Midway Center. The secret? (3) The brulee cheesecake – again, a tradition even before 1776 was owned by Tom & Tammy. (4) I love the tomahawk steak (a ribeye with the full bone) and the NY Strip, but all of their curated steaks are perfect.
