The tiny Chaps franchise behind Iron Hill Brewers on the Highway in Rehoboth has been replaced by 302 THE LOCAL, operated by Chris & Steve Desch, two of the three brothers who opened the Rehoboth Chaps several years ago. This speakeasy/whisky-flavored bar dishes up comfort food the a Prohibition feel.

It was a “tiny” but mighty franchise. I loved going there. The food and the folks were always a plus. I look forward to checking out the new place as well. Need more local haunts
