What would you like to do?

I use it often…

I love your web site. I use it often. My only advice is to keep your off-season calendar up to date as I have visited (or tried to) many restaurants on your list to find they are closed. Thanks!

[ed. note: That's why I post, in bright yellow highlight at both the beginning and the end of the off-season list, the warning that you should always call any place in the off-season. Restaurants often close unexpectedly because of weather, their mood, or private functions. It is impossible to keep up with these last-minute decisions. Also refer you to my FAQ regarding places that are closed when we say they're open.]

So impressed…

My family will be coming to explore Delaware the middle of April. I just found your site and am so impressed with it.

My questions is: Is there another ‘food critic' who critiques the northern section of Del.? We are going to be staying in New Castle County for a couple of days. Looking for someone who is honest as you!! [ed. note: The Foodie suggested Matt Amis, who writes for DE Today magazine.]

A ‘welcome to the beach’

Your article in today's Cape Gazette was a welcome to the beach that I have been awaiting!

Having lived in both Yonkers and NYC, I have missed the cuisine of the various neighborhoods. The variety one can find within one block! We will most definitely be enjoying Touch of Italy in all of its locations. Thanks for the wonderful article! Mangia!! And bon appetit!

A terrific resource

We've been watching the Rehoboth Foodie site grow over the years, and it's really turned into a terrific resource for visitors. Congratulations on your success!

I recommend you to everyone

LOVE your site and your reviews, and I recommend you to everyone who lives in or visits the area. The one thing that I'd love to see and that many of my friends would also love to see is a “kid friendliness” rating…..

[ed. note: My popular travel app, Rehoboth In My Pocket has a kid-friendliness rating for every restaurant entry. In fact, there are two separate categories called “Kid Friendly” and “Childs Play” that not only list restaurants that love kids, but kids' activities in general, including miniature golf, Pirate Expeditions, amusement parks, etc. If you have an iPhone, iPad or Android device, you can download the app for only $3.99 from iTunes or Google Play.]

Thanks for all of the work you put into this! It beats all of the fake “we're going to say nothing but wonderful things in order to get a free meal” so-called “reviews” without any competition at all.

I’m a food critic…

Hi! I just found your website. I'm the food critic at [major metro magazine]. I'll be coming to town in a week or two, and wanted to pick your brain for some spots to visit.

I've been coming to Rehoboth for years — since I was 10, actually. …Are there places that've opened in the past year that you're particularly enthused about? … Thanks so much.

Recently moved…

My wife and I recently moved to the area. [We] enjoy your information and observations very much. Is there/was there a Sweet Tomatoes in the area? I could swear I saw a sign for one during one of your explorations. Thanks. [ed. note: I suspect you saw “Tomato Sunshine.“]

Updated information…

Hi! Thank you for the updated information about our Market!

I don’t want to miss any news!

Question…I'm on your mailing list and get the new reviews, etc. However, I'm wondering if the News, Gossip and Updates info also comes in an email. I missed the Salt Air opening, but just drove by and saw folks inside. Checked your site and saw the news flash.

Certainly want to be sure I don't miss any important RB food news! [ed. note: Yes, everything newly posted within two weeks leading up to the Foodie Digest mailing is included. We might have announced the opening by adding it to an older post which would not be sent as a new one. Because of this, we now rewrite/repost important news so they will show a new date and be sent with the subsequent Foodie Digest mailing. TKS for the heads up!]

I realize why I like you so much

After reading your article about the Cake Bar I realized why I like you so much — you are from Baltimore? Right? Anyhow, I do enjoy reading your articles so keep up the good work!
