What would you like to do?

King of Gourmet Eating

Thank you so much for your wonderful web site and articles in the Cape Gazette. I read your reviews whenever I get “homesick” for the beach.  I can't wait to try the new ones and your reviews are very fair in every regard. I think everyone should be promoting your site.  It will help our beloved Rehoboth be the king of gourmet eating at the beach.

With all the new restaurants…it promises to be an exciting summer at the beach!

Keep up the Good Work!

Just wanted to let you know how much I love your site. I check it religiously (daily) for your updates.  My husband and I are serious “foodies” and love good restaurants. We stay at Rehoboth every summer and use your reviews to determine where we'll go out to eat (and your reviews are always “right on”). We would love to meet you and share a meal. Keep up the good work!

You’re now my home page

Food, you're amazing on getting the latest info. I've decided to make RehobothFoodie.com my home page instead of the Post or the Times. I find RB dining info from you more important than the news of Ivory Coast or wherever this week's turmoil is. Plenty of turmoil here. Ever think of running for Mayor or Chief of Police in RB? You could get priorities straight with your brains.

I’ve read every review…

I'm not sure how I stumbled upon your site, but I've really enjoyed reading your reviews, especially the ones of my favorite RB restaurants. I visit Rehoboth about once a month and stick pretty close to my favorite restaurants, just by force of habit. I've had way too much time on my hands lately and have now read virtually every review here. Now I have a few places I'd like to check out! Thanks for a fun and informative site.

We take turns…

Every year the four of us come from Philadelphia to Rehoboth Beach over Presidents Day weekend. We shop, walk around and EAT (there's not much more trouble 4 middle-aged women can get into). After we discovered your site, each of us picked a restaurant for lunch or dinner based on your reviews. We had great fun, and (most) of your picks were perfect. Thanks, Foodie, for a fun and fattening weekend. We're coming back.

I might visit–in disguise…

Several of my colleagues here at the Food Network offices in New York City have mentioned your site to me. I just wanted to write you a quick note to tell you how much I enjoy your reviews. I'm not familiar with Rehoboth Beach, but RehobothFoodie.com provides an interesting cross-section of the place, food-wise–with a pinch of history, a dash of humor, a splash of food facts and a few sprinkles of sarcasm. Love it! I think I might visit there because of you, but I'll have to disguise myself…

Fair and Open Minded

I'm so happy to have found your website and always enjoy the reviews. I see you're kind and thoughtful when you write about some faults found, and you always seem fair and open minded. Keep it up!

We like your style

My wife and I live in New York City. We found you on Google and love reading your articles. We decided to come to Rehoboth for the first time to try some of the places you wrote about. We love Rehoboth and the places you recommended, especially Dos Locos and Confucius. We're coming back for sure.

Thank you, Mr. Foodie!

We live in Lehigh Valley, PA. My family visits Rehoboth Beach every year with our three teenagers and my mother. We always argue over where to eat. We found your website on Google last winter, and we decided to let “The Foodie” pick our restaurants this year, and stop the arguments.

Each of us was assigned one of your categories (two of us got “American'Traditional” since it's so big), then each read all the reviews in that category, then selected a place. The selection was non-negotiable! We have NEVER had so much fun! We ate at all new places, consulted your menu suggestions on my iPhone in the restaurants, and ordered your favorites.

We agree with your opinions. It was so much fun we are going to do it again in September. Thanks, Mr. Foodie, for a GREAT vacation in Rehoboth Beach.

Inquiring Foodies Need to Know

Hi! My name is […] and I work at Food Network in New York. I will be visiting the Rehoboth and Dover areas over 4th of July weekend for the first time. Can you please recommend a couple of great but not overly pricy restaurants? All types of food are welcome.
