Are you a fan of the Rosenfeld's in OC or the sky-blue Jewish Deli-Mobile? Well, Lawyer-turned-Deliman Warren Rosenfeld has signed a lease to bring Ocean City's wildly popular Rosenfeld's Jewish Deli to Rehoboth. At exactly 1600 hours Greenwich Mean Time on Monday, October 26, 2015, Warren put pen to paper to seal the deal for a new Rosenfeld's in the Schell office building to be built immediately to the south of the WaWa at Coastal Highway and Route 24. Don't expect pastrami, rugalach or bagels with a schmear until late fall 2016 or very early in 2017.
All this, just a few months after his Jewish DeliMobile made its maiden voyage into Rehoboth, laden with corned beef sandwiches and pickles. Regular stops include the Schell Building next to Big Fish Grill from 11-2 on Fridays and in front of the Cape Gazette in Nassau Commons from 11-2 on Thursdays.
We are excited, and have a survival kit ready: a jar of Ba-Tampte deli mustard, several slices of marble halvah, and a celebratory menorah … just in case.
Listen to Warren break the news about the food truck to the Rehoboth Foodie on Delaware 105.9's Sip & Bite with the RehobothFoodie.
First time great pastrami sandwich. Second time poor service and get home wrong sandwich. Batting .500 not good for future
Ken…
