Addictive Tacos

/ Updated on September 26, 2022

The tiny Addictive Tacos just opened in the old Rudy's/Grandpa MAC/Touch of Italy spot next to Blue Moon at 33a Baltimore Ave. in downtown Rehoboth Beach.

Meet Chef/owner Andrea Neal on the podcast of the 9/24 Beach Eats radio show that aired on  92.7 and 98.5FM.

Boss Andrea Neal offers a very simple menu. I've eaten there several times and both the fish and the shrimp tacos are delicious, and available fried (tastes better) and grilled (get the fried). In fact, they very much remind me of Aquiles Demerutis' wonderful ElDorado tacos that used to be on Rt. 24 at Coastal Highway. And Aquiles was one of her first customers! Andrea prepares each taco to order, with a few wonderful ‘Baja' touches like cool, crisp cabbage (instead of limp lettuce), a few crispy radishes and fresh pico de gallo. She also has a “secret” spicy shrimp version that is my favorite.

She just added a chicken option which is prepared similarly to the shrimp and fish. She also proudly offers vegan and vegetarian versions of her tacos using fresh avocado and a vegan version of crema. Another value added is her Taco Paks which are perfect for taking to the beach or for carryout. The containers have special little dividers so the tacos don't intermingle during transport, resulting in chaos and anarchy.

Check this place out! Andrea is upbeat, friendly and very talented!

About the Author

"My goal is to promote Rehoboth Beach dining while remaining honest and impartial. I don’t gush unless a place deserves it, and I don’t pull punches, either. With so many good places to eat around here, it just doesn’t make sense to waste the calories — or the money — on anything less." View all articles written by The Rehoboth Foodie
