Square One OPEN

/ Updated on February 28, 2021

Longtime restaurateurs Joe and Darryl Ciarlante-Zuber, the original creators of Dos Locos (formerly Plumb Loco many years ago) and JD's Filling Station in Lewes have returned to their original spot at 10 N. 1st St. in downtown Rehoboth Beach. After almost a year of delays caused by the ongoing restaurant restrictions, they have finally opened.

Square One Grill is where Canyons, Twigs, the original Dos Locos, then Lily Thai all used to be. What makes this place extra special is that it is owned and operated by the original owners of Dos Locos in that spot. After selling Dos Locos on Rehoboth Avenue to entrepreneur Mit Patel and partners, Joe and Darryl opened and operated Diego's Hideaway above Crystal restaurant on Rehoboth Avenue extended.

The owners claim that this 56 seat restaurant will source as much organic, local and natural product as possible for its cuisine and beverage program.

    Is it now closed?

The classic martini is very small especially with it’s $13.00 price tag!
Most entree prices were pretty high!

Square One is off to a great start! We carried in dinner this weekend, and everything was delicious – the calamari was some of the best we have had anywhere, and the salmon and tuna entrees were excellent. But leave room for dessert! Fantastic…and big enough to share
