Smokin’ Hot Jazz! 10/14

/ Updated on October 15, 2017

Enjoy straight-ahead jazz music at the Rehoboth Avenue Fire Station on Saturday, Oct. 14 starting at 3 when Hammond B3 Jazz Organist, Bill Dilks wows us with the Mighty B!

“One thing I’ve found over the years, and why I always use the Hammond B3 is that it's more and more of a rarity, and those words help sell it. It sells the fact that “this is not a keyboard stack emulation, it’s the real deal”. And the knowing folks who see “Hammond” or “B3” usually think “smokin’”, along with “rare”, and the B3 jazz imparts the magic of this timeless music. Think Jimmy Smith, Joey DeFrancesco, Lonnie Smith, Booker T and the MGs, and, in fact, your very own Rehoboth Foodie back in the '70s in Ocean City … the list goes on and on into the thousands!

I'll see you there at the Rehoboth Avenue Fire Station of Saturday Oct. 14!
