The old Delaware Trust Bank at 303 Main St. in Millsboro has lit up once again, this time playing host to a new gastropub, Plate & Palette. The space was originally Luca Italian restaurant. Then it became The Pint, which lasted for quite a long time.
Plate & Palette offers a fairly extensive gastropub-style menu, and makes use of the resident wood oven to produce a selection of flatbreads. Sandwiches include a “build your own” burger and lobster/crab salad “rolls.” Early returns from my spies give high points to the Seafood Risotto and the Lobster Tostada on the app menu. Shepherd’s Pie and several similar items give a nod to the previous tenant in that space. Check it out and feel free to give me your feedback.
We wish Plate & Palette the best! Keep an eye on RehobothFoodie.com – there will be a sneak peek and some photos very soon. Call (302) 663-9992 for hours, info.
