DiFebo’s Goes to Berlin

/ Updated on October 30, 2017

Apparently “America's coolest small town” (I think I have that right – Toby? Big Al? Justine?) is getting even cooler.

Lisa DiFebo Osias and her husband Jeff have opened yet another DiFebo's installation in the tiny (but very cool) town of Berlin, just west of Ocean City. This brings the number of DiFebo's restaurants to three, including the original spot in Bethany Beach and the relatively new location at the corner of First St. and Baltimore Ave. in Rehoboth Beach.

They are in good company: Justine Zegna closed her Planet X restaurant in Rehoboth several years ago and opened her successful Blacksmith restaurant in Berlin. Then a(MUSE) sous chef Toby Gilbert made the trek west to open Gilbert's Provisions. The Foodie is aware of other plans, but has been sworn to secrecy – but you'll be the second to know (I'll be the first, obviously…).

The new DiFebo's is at 104 Main St. Call them at 302-539-4550 for Berlin catering needs.

A group of friends and I have dinner at Difebo’s in Berlin Friday night. Four out of four of us agree it was the best dining experience we’ve had in years! The service was excellent and the food was even better. Everything was delicious! We talked about it for most of the rest of the night and all planned our next trip back. We were all saying tomorrow?
