As Chef Bill Clifton hinted on my Sip & Bite radio show several months ago, he will indeed square off with Celebrity Chef Bobby Flay at 10 p.m., Thursday, May 2 on Food Network's “Beat Bobby Flay” show.
When the show was taped, Bill was still the Executive Chef at Henlopen City Oyster House. He is currently the co-owner and Executive Chef at the new Counting House restaurant in The Brick Hotel in Georgetown.
Robbie Jester, another popular Delaware Chef, not only appeared on “Beat Bobby Flay,” but he beat bobby flay! We hope Bill gets the same results. Of course he was contractually forbidden to reveal any details about the show when he was on Sip & Bite.
