Milan Mladjan and Michael Lankford have turned the key on their new Beach Nomad Brews on Baltimore Avenue in Rehoboth. And they will be featuring The Rehoboth Foodie’s band 2nd Time Around starting at 6 on FRIDAY, Nov. 16!
The Rehoboth Foodie is already looking forward to the band breaks when he can try out Milan’s hometown poutines! Milan hails from Canada and used to be the lead winemaker at Harvest Ridge Winery!
Hear Milan & brewery P/R guru Lauren Bigelow on last week’s Sip & Bite Show on Delaware 105.9FM.! Click here for the podcast.
The gastropub/brewpub is located in the basement of the old Epworth UMC underneath Clear Space Theater at 20 Baltimore Ave. That space has been notoriously difficult for just about every concept that has attempted to open there, so these guys have their work cut out for them. Mladjan operates the brewing and front end of the restaurant, while Lankford will operate the back end.
Lankford and Mladjan told Cape Gazette reporter Chris Flood that they’re aware of the location’s history of restaurant turnover, but they said they’re not looking to be a fine dining experience like the previous restaurants. Michael is part of the family that owns the old Epworth Church building and the oceanfront Atlantic Sands Hotel. We wish them the best.
